Republic Bank (Ghana) PLC has announced the appointment of Mr. Venus Francis Frith as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective December 20, 2024, following approval from the Bank of Ghana. This strategic move comes as the bank aims to strengthen its operational framework and achieve the goals of its five-year strategic plan, the Republic Verse.
As COO, Mr. Frith will oversee:
Republic Trust: Ensuring efficient trust services and wealth management.
Corporate Banking: Driving growth in the corporate banking sector.
Custody and International Trade Services: Enhancing service quality in key financial areas.
Strategic Oversight: Supporting the Managing Director and assuming responsibility across the bank in his absence.
Mr. Frith brings over two decades of banking experience, having worked with Republic Bank Limited, Trinidad & Tobago, since 2000. He rose from apprentice to General Manager of Credit at Republic Bank (Guyana) Limited. Expertise spans operations, retail lending, corporate lending, risk management, and investment banking. He holds a BSc in Banking & Finance and an MSc in International Finance.
