Real Madrid’s squad list for Champions League opener: Bellingham bolsters midfield

Real Madrid announced their squad list on Monday ahead of the Champions League encounter against Stuttgart. Finally, Carlo Ancelotti has called up several players who could be doubts for this midweek game.

Real Madrid will face their first game in this new Champions League as they take on Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. During the last training session before the call-up, Eder Militao was absent and there could have been some doubt about his presence but Ancelotti confirmed his availability in a press conference.

The Italian coach will also be able to count on Jude Bellingham and Aurelien Tchouameni. It remains to be seen what percentage they are now at full strength, but both have been included in the squad, with the injured Brahim Diaz missing, as expected.
