Real Madrid Beat Atalanta to win Uefa Super Cup as Mbappe Scores

Real Madrid won the European Super Cup after defeating its counterpart Atalanta 2-0 in the match that was held this evening. This is the sixth title in the history of the Royal Club in this competition.

The beginning of the first half of the match witnessed a relative advantage on the part of Real Madrid,  in terms of control and possession of the ball, but without dangerous opportunities on the goal of the Atalanta team.

After half an hour, Atalanta entered the match strongly and threatened Real Madrid’s goal through counterattacks and fast balls, as Milpitao was about to score with a header, but his ball hit the crossbar.

In the second half, Atalanta almost scored the lead goal after a cross and then a header, but Courtois brilliantly cleared it in the 47th minute, then Real Madrid scored the lead goal through Fede Valverde after a wonderful pass from Vinicius.

In the 60th minute, Vinicius scored a certain goal after he was alone with the goalkeeper and then shot a ball that was cleared by the latter. After that, Real Madrid almost added a second goal, but the Atalanta defender blocked Bellingham’s shot, and then the goalkeeper cleared it from the goal line.

Real Madrid was able to score a second goal through Kylian Mbappe after a pass from Bellingham inside the penalty area, which Mbappe converted into the net with a wonderful shot in the 68th minute. Then the minutes passed and the victory ended with Madrid winning 2- 0.
