Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation Joins Ghana Gas to Construct

The Board Chairman of the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, Otumfuo Hiahene, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, speaking at the occasion, indicated that the construction of the staff bungalows would improve the living conditions of the teachers and staff, and enhance the teaching and learning environment of the school.

To help address the shortfall of teachers’ accommodation at Louis Girls Senior High School in Kumasi, the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation and Ghana Gas are putting up several staff bungalows in the school.

On Monday, Sept 16, 2024, a sod-cutting ceremony was performed to construct a one-story edifice consisting of 4 units of two-bedroom flats in the school compound.

Initiated by the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Foundation, the project is being supported by Ghana Gas as part of its programme under corporate social responsibility.

Like many schools in the country, St Louis Girls SHS faces a shortage of staff accommodation.
