Monday, January 27, started off on a solid note as Access Bank Ghana Plc (ACCESS) impressed with a GH₵0.52 gain, trading 1,000 shares at GH₵5,720.00. Meanwhile, NewGold Issuer Ltd. (GLD), which usually rides on gold’s global movements, slipped GH₵0.97, with 203 shares traded for GH₵85,285.89.
Tuesday, January 28, saw action from the banking and telecom giants. Ecobank Transnational Incorporated (ETI) gained GH₵0.02, moving 8,133 shares worth GH₵3,009.21.
MTN Ghana (MTNGH) wasn’t left out, adding GH₵0.05, with 14,951 shares exchanging hands at GH₵40,362.65. But all eyes were on GLD, which plunged GH₵5.90, as 524 shares were traded at GH₵217,054.61.

MTNGH continued its steady form, gaining GH₵0.05, but the biggest move of the day came from GLD, which skyrocketed GH₵7.17, with 333 shares trading at GH₵140,511.60.
Friday, January 31, was CAL Bank’s (CAL) moment to shine, with another GH₵0.02 gain, after 89,532 shares traded hands, bringing the total value to GH₵36,707.63.
