‘When Mahama is in office, the Ashanti Region sees results’ – Former TOR boss tells voters

A former Managing Director of the Tema Oil Refinery and prominent member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kwame Awuah-Darko has urged voters to trust John Dramani Mahama’s leadership to bring about significant infrastructural development. Speaking in an interview in Kumasi on November 27, Awuah-Darko highlighted the transformative projects spearheaded by the former president during his tenure, emphasising the NDC’s commitment to equitable national development. “John Mahama is a visionary leader who prioritizes the needs of the people. His track record in delivering infrastructure that benefits communities is unmatched. From schools and hospitals to roads and energy projects, he has proven his dedication to ensuring every region receives its fair share of development,” Awuah-Darko said. He touched on several key projects undertaken during Mahama’s presidency, including the Kejetia Market, the Kumasi Airport expansion, and various road networks that have enhanced regional transportation. Additionally, he mentioned that the National Apprenticeship Program (NAP) will provide jobs for the artisans in Kumasi Magazine, while adding that investment in agriculture and rice production could provide over 200,000 sustainable jobs for NABCO trainees.
