Bournemouth 3-2 Everton: Antoine Semenyo scores to inspire Bournemouth to incredible comeback win at Everton

Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo continued his red-hot form in the English Premier League after netting his second goal in three matches as Bournemouth staged an incredible comeback to come from two goals down and beat Everton at Goodison Park.

Semenyo latched onto a Dango Ouattara cross to half the deficit with four minutes remaining, his third goal-contribution, before injury time goals from Lewis Cook and Luis Sinisterra sealed victory for the Cherries.

Michael Keane and Dominic Calvert-Lewin gave the Toffees a two-goal lead in the space of seven minutes moments after the break.

Semenyo terrorised the Everton defence, causing trouble for their defenders and it finally paid off in the 86th minute. The Ghana international has been Bournemouth’s livewire since the departure of strike partner Dominic Solanke to Tottenham Hotspurs.

Bournemouth remain unbeaten in the new campaign after three matches, drawing two and winning one.

Semenyo will fly to Ghana for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Angola and Niger on Monday.
